It took a little longer than hoped. Not that there was so much to be done. There was simply no good point in time to stop. Essentially Version 2.2 is what the other post promised plus some documentation and some bug fixes.

Just as we like do this, all 2.2 assets are in branches called v2.2. I.e. to get a consistent v2.2 experience always check out the v2.2 branch from respective Git repos.
